Farewell to a True Sainter

Post: # 732783Post manoffewwords »

This morning my dad passed away. He was a True Sainter of 71 years.
I will remember lovingly every game we went to together, we yelled and screamed argued and laughed.
On Thursday night he said he really thought that this could be our year.
This week his saints hat and scarf will adorn his coffin.

Farewell to My dad a true saint.

Sorry to hear that mate, lets hope he is right about our fate this year.

I am lucky enough to still watch the Saints with my Dad and he is 82. I cherish every moment.

Heartfelt sympathy to you and all who loved your dad, manoffewwords. Another true Saint to watch our earthly saints hopefully go marching in this season. If it is indeed our year this year, I'll remember your dad predicted it.

That's very sad news, manoffewwords.

Condolences.

I really hope it is our year like your old man said. Sounds like he was quite optimistic before he passed. What a trooper!

Barracking for the Saints since 1938?

He must have built so much character he was 20ft tall!

So sorry for your loss.

I'm sure he'll be right beside you every weekend during the season.
