would't be in the least surprised if bj spends quite a bit of time at ff.

that's assuming kosi, rather than blake, shares the rucking duties with gardiner.

WHAT THE?

I am flabbergasted that people still consider Bakes to be on the borderline of the team.

He is absolutely vital to the fabric of this team.

Would be on Ross' "Can't Afford to Lose this bloke to injury" list.

Don't throw that out & then try to soften it by saying 'personally i prefer him in'.
Read it how you want animal enclosure, I have no problem saying that if someone needs to be dropped then they should be dropped. Eddy was everyone's popular pick, including mine simply because of last in, first out to fit who we believed would be Kosi and McEvoy.

Baker was a left field selection because Eddy is quicker and played what I thought to be a good game. I've liked the way Baker has played this year but I'm not sure he's 'vital to the fabric' of our team. If that is the case and our 'fabric' unravels because he's not in the side then perhaps we're not the team we think we are or hope to be.

All power to Bakes, I hope he plays 25 games this year and gets to wear a well deserved premiership medallion because no one in the club besides Max would be more deserving.

We need more mids that can play as defenders not less, surely?
I agree with others that Bakes is one of the first few picked, vital player.
His numbers in stats don't tell his story.

I really would have liked to see McEvoy in with Kosi. Just feel we should maintain the same structure and it would have been nice to see how he would do in case we needed him later in the year.
Not that anyone should have been dropped, but yeah...

Me too.
McEvoy not named tells me Kosi is out personally, hope I'm wrong.

Imo Bakes has been fantastic this year. I think the selectors would have rocks in thier head to even consider dropping Bakes

As much as im hoping it wont be the case I get a strange feeling that Kosi will miss. I dont understand why they just dont come out & say he not ready instead of getting everyones hopes up & pulling the pin on game day. I know thier giving him every chance to come up but if its that touch & go , dont risk him but dont keep the supporters in the dark .

nah, this is one i reckon you want to keep the dogs guessing about for as long as possible - this is why neither mcevoy or miles played at sandy. the dogs will obviously have two plans, one with kosi in the side and one without, but if he misses they still have no idea how he will be replaced. will mac come in? if he does, will he play permanent forward or will he share ruck? will miles come in to take blake's spot at the back and will blake share ruck? will armo come in despite playing yesterday? (highly unlikely.)

keep em guessing until half an hour before the start when the teamsheets go in.
