Carlton by a mile. Hawthorns year is over. As per previous predictions they won't make the eight.

I still think people are getting ahead of themselves with Carlton. Hawks should have three players back from injury this week. If the Hawks can hold Fev and Betts I think Buddy and Roughy can win it for them.

these two teams will dominate from about 2011 on for a good while.

both are young so unpredictible but either brilliant on their day which is basically the reason that Hawks stole the flag last year.

this probably doesn't help you, but i'd be going for the Hawks this week. less unpredictible than the blues, and due to string a few good ones together

Carlton have beaten Hawthorn once (2000) at the MCG since the 1987 Grand Final.

going for the hawks.
mitchell to roughead.
hodge, sewell, lewis etc etc.
hawks have the edge in hardness.
rioli will likely enjoy himself.
hawks by three or four goals.

I'll probably tip Carlton, so judging by my success rate the last couple of rounds, you should tip Hawthorn. :(
