The importance of him missing gettable shots at goal is underrated.

He would be one of the all-time greats if he could kick goals consistently. Until he does, he's a champ of our club. But not much more than that really.

If Fevola's career kicking was what it's been like the past month, he'd be nothing more than an average FF. He'd probably be in the 2's or retired by now.
But because he kicks important goals, and easy goals, and hard goals consistently he's considered one of the best in the business.

A midfielder who regularly turns the ball over is considered seriously flawed - a forward should be no different.

Carlton lost a game to Sydney last week that Fev's 3.7 (?) was a prime reason for. Yes he has an injured heel but Roo is coming back from injury also

Should we compare score assists? Without even checking he'd be so far ahead of Buddy and Fev its not funny. And lets not compare workrate off the ball. Would embarrass the other two also.

Really gets on my tits when Roo works his guts out, creating, presenting, having the ball kicked over his head or 2 ft in front of him...then when he misses a set shot people grizzle, whinging how "Buddy or Fev would have nailed that" Take the blinkers off people!!

Four TB Medals? Puts him in the elite of our club for mine :-)
