Tickets for game versus Melbourne on Gold Coast
Have booked flights but not seats yet.
Does anyone know the arrangements for booking tickets so that we can sit with other Saints?
Thanks in advance....

Hi Mordi
My wife, a friend and I are also hoping to go up. We had a quick look at Tiks yesterday on the Stadium Site....doesnt look like an issue and we looked at undercover seats ($ 35-45 I think) Havent booked yet as we need to sort out accomodation and flights. Looking forward to it so far. Dooley (Cheer squad) told me that ground is a good 15 min drive away. There is another thread on this in "Cheer Squad" section..........if you DO find out about a "Saints Friendly" area will you pm me please. However at the same time dont mind where I sit : I think Demons are a friendly bunch aren't they.....???
Cheers
Sunil

there are free buses that run from the coast areas including pick ups at Pacific Fair shopping centre- last stop- NAB gmae they had had so much rain they closed the car park and it was horrendous to find parking....
may have to share- BUT it is Melbourne so not Qld club
check with the club as to which area they will be having seats available and aim for there.
other than that- just surround the ground.............. make the sounde reverberate around the ground as it did last year.

here is a photo i got of where the Ground is compared to accommodation. The ground is circled in pink.
as you can see, its not in the best of locations.

You obviously weren't there for the NAB Cup match.desertsaint wrote:I reckon you'll be able to pick anywhere you want - amongst the other 10 that turn up
It was no worse than a 40-60 split of fans, possibly better. We've got a lot of support up there.
I did it on the return train from Brisbane too, which is a good option if the Gold Coast isn't your ideal.
Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.
Cant 100% remember how he put it..but AF pre-season did intimate that Saints members would recieve free entry to this game (unlike Tassie) and tehre would be some special seating arrangements made for Members.
Not gonna happen? Maybe someone can ask Michael N on SC?

Also, does this "free bus" run from Broadbeach by any chance?

not sure exactly 'where' the buses go from- we caught it in the middle of surfers - after walking what seemed like Km in the wriong direction.
I know it stopped in plenty of places on the return- near many hotels ( as I had never been to the Coast before I was completly lost as far as directions and places.
with Tickets I bought online when I went-
BUT would suggest SOMEONE query the Saints -would be best to get some idea of prices and availabality and the match status- in regards to being home game etc.- I'm not sure
unless St Bev has more information.

As far as I know the tickets arn't for sale yet? Last year our seats were in Stand 2, Row A, Seat 21. In the past our seats have always been alloted in the same area, no guarantees of course. I wouldn't expect it to be a sell out, so if people are happy to leave booking their tickets to the last minute I can advise when we get our tickets.
You can of course buy tickets prior to the game, but it is a long wait and I have known alot of people to miss quite a bit of the game.
The bus leaves from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, which is in Broadbeach opposite the Casino.
We meet at the Emerald Lakes Golf Club, opposite Carrara Stadium for pre match drinks and the Liars Bar in Broadbeach for post match drinks.
Hopefully we will have a breakfast with the players, but not confirmed at this stage.
Any questions, I will do my best to answer.

merely a joke everton - the 10 figure was a total attendance - not just saints - just exaggerating the fact that there will be many seats available!evertonfc wrote:You obviously weren't there for the NAB Cup match.desertsaint wrote:I reckon you'll be able to pick anywhere you want - amongst the other 10 that turn up
