nearly an hour now...no Freo team!
The AFL state that all teams are to be announced at 5pm.
It is nearly 6pm Melbourne time now.
They should get a $10,000 fine for late lodgement of the team, gives them an unfair advantage (but they are crap regardless, but that aint the point!).
IMO teams should get an automatic fine if the 22+3 emergencies are not announced by 5.10pm
Thoughts?

Fremantle have opted not to send a side to Melbourne to face ladder-leaders St Kilda in a move that will send shock-waves around the AFL.
In an unprecedented move, the West Australian club decided it would rest its players in preparation for its round five clash against Sydney which is shaping to be a blockbuster.
Mark Harvey said, "The Saints are good. To win the game we would really need to come to play which we didn't feel we could. Come to play, that is. So we won't come to play, at all."

Fremantle - Where's my toyboy?
Enflamed at suggestions that Fremantle have given themselves the week off against St. Kilda and will not appear at Docklands to compete on Saturday Night in a bid to perhaps secure points against Sydney the following week, I'm writing to express my esteemed disappointment that my new toyboy Reece wont (I said wont) be coming over for a shag, I mean shandy this weekend.
I'm gutted.

Fremantle U-turn.
In an incredible about-face, Fremantle have reversed the decision not to send a team to Melbourne to face the Saints in what will be a relief to the AFL and the club's embattled supporters.
Mark Harvey commented, "Yeah, nah, Pavlich and David Mundy are on my supercoach side. Couldn't do it so yeah, we'll play. We're good to go. I think we'll probably win. 10 goals. Finals this year."

To Schwabb or not to Schwabb
Former Fremantle Boss and now head of Melbourne Cameron Schwabb has weighed into the debate as to whether or nor Fremantle will arrive for their scheduled Saturday Night clash against St. Kilda at Etihad Stadium.
Schwabb has announced that although he feels the culture of the club is strong and that he believes he had left it in a better state than when arrived despite the fact that it appears Fremantle will not ever win a thing, he says that the real fear may or may not be that SADA is likely to be in attendance of the ficture.
"SADA" Schwabb says "is the boys biggest fear. The arguement is not whether or not Fremantle will win, clearly they will demolish The Saints, the arguement is what they will need to take in order to do so. I reckon it would need to be Blow. Go just wouldn't cut it. If you are talking about a real percentage-victory nothing beats the benifits of Blow."
