whats your take on this lad?
"could be a superstar" "should be a superstar"
i beileive he is the type of player, that cant be the number 1 player for the team.
i think if he was at a better club.
ie. saints
we have a history of taking discarded players, and turning them good
he would be a very very nice player.
lets face it we could use his pace and class.
even just sit him foward, for pressure pace and magic
thoughts?
and dont disregared this on his form
actually read^^

I don't know if you know too much about our history, but here are a few...we have a history of taking discarded players, and turning them good
Birss, Ackland, Knobel, McGough, Brooks, Stone, Charlie Gardner and we let go of Guerra
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!

We shouldn't have let go of Guerra he is Hawthorn's rock in the back pocket.St Fidelius wrote:I don't know if you know too much about our history, but here are a few...we have a history of taking discarded players, and turning them good

No sorry Chris was selected before such names as Monfries, Bate etc.
Lewis was selected at pick 7:

What im trying to say is that Black fellas are lazy thats it, no matter how high the draft pick is, Buddy is lazy he isn't even that fit, he doesn't have to be because he is so athletic.Marcus1232 wrote:what i am trying to say though is for a player that they put so much faith in he shows glimpses but never puts it all togethor

Look at Leon for example he was just a lazy FP with magic, now look at him, he is a very good midfielder, with the davey brothers they could just be a lazy FP each but they chase and tackle hard and they kick goals thats all they have to do to retain there spot in the seniors, with Goodes he has shown enough to have the right to be lazy but he wants to be a leader and what a good leader he is.Marcus1232 wrote:true true but what about players like
Aaron/alwyn davey
Cyril Rioli
Adam Goodes

Prize to you for the most ridiculously crass generalisation in the history of football discussion...Saints94 wrote:What im trying to say is that Black fellas are lazy thats it, no matter how high the draft pick is, Buddy is lazy he isn't even that fit, he doesn't have to be because he is so athletic.
How about rephrasing to something along the lines of 'some players are lazy. Wells appears to be one of them.'
As for lazy players - Chris Tarrant, Anthony Rocca, Brendan Fevola, Travis Johnstone, Joel Bowden, Paul Hasleby and even our own Stevie Milne and Dal Santo have been known to switch off for extended periods... not many blackfellas among them...
IMO yours is a stupid, immature and LAZY comment that is probably informed by something other than an interest in football.
Sorry for being argumentative and all, but I couldn't leave it unsaid.
