NOT HAPPY, JEN: Liked this note from VFL marketing officer Jen Pryor to affiliated clubs last week: “Can you remind your AFL players it’s the VFL, not the ressies, the twos or even the magoos. There’s been a bit of an outbreak of it of late – Luke Ball, Anthony Rocca, Josh Fraser to name but a few.â€

Well if the AFL hadn't embraced it as a 'magoos', 'ressies' or 'twos' competition ten years ago then the VFL would be well and truly dead by now.
