Freo: Targets for this week
No, not player targets, as in scoring/winning margin targets.
I hope RL sets the bar very high.
Freo are a load of disgraceful, pathetic rubbish and deserve to get absolutely smashed, perhaps even harder than the Weagles (who are better than Freo, by a fair margin IMO).
Target should be: US - to score 30 gaols.
WIN - by 20 goals.
Yes, they are very, very high targets - and possibly a little out of reach - but you gotta put the bar higher and higher, make the boys hungry every week.
It's not say we should'nt be happy with scoring 20 goals and winning by 10.
Thoughts??

Target No1
Belt them !...on the scoreboard that is
We owe them heaps...Tassie debarkle, Bakes/Farmer.... need I go on ....
in fact there's got to be more and someone can add to these if they like
I just dislike even thinking about the Shockers and their stupid anchors which happily appear to be weighing them down heavily at present

King and Gardiner will have their work cut out for them for a second consecutive week.
CJ has earned the right to have first crack at Palmer.
We must concentrate on winning every contest we possibly can, if we can do this the score will come.

do what we have done so far and the score board takes care of itself.
Tackle, pressure, share the load and go when it is your turn to .
Freo will be dangerous if you let them hang around.
IF Pav plays forward S Fisher, in the middle go head to head with him as no defensive side to game.
Contest at the ruck to negate Sandilands. Palmer - Jones. Haselby , go head to head with Ball. Haselby gets lots of easy touches out wide at Subi, can't so that at Etihad. If McPharlin goes will stretch the defense in a big way.
Should win what i think will be closer than many think for a while by 42 points

First lets not get ahead of our selves. We need to win most of all.
Second I don't think we should tag Palmer, he gets a lot of the pill, but he isn't that damaging...

target
100 tackles (25 a quarter)
2-1 win in the contested ball
concede less then 60 points
everything else will fall into place

I'd rather CJ go to Haselby, Palmer gets a lot of the pill, but tends to butcher it.Armoooo wrote:King and Gardiner will have their work cut out for them for a second consecutive week.
