Since I have been following them, I can only recall three years when we have won our first three (complete streak in brackets): 1965(4), 1966(8) and 2004(10). Perhaps someone can remember or knows of other years.markp wrote:I think I heard also that it's only the 2nd time in 30 years we've won our first 3? ...
great way to start a week
only problem is it will get us a little more attention then we have had... while tis is great for memberships and sponsors it makes it easier to lose your focus

% is a funny concept, and can be difficult to grasp.BelfastSaint wrote:With a really good win against Freo we could get that % over 200 which would be an excellent start to the season ..
The longer the season goes, the greater a win is necessary to boost % by the same amount.
It also will require a massive win to get our % to 200%.
If the Dockers score 50 points, which you would expect, we need to win by 104 points to get to 200%.
If they score 66 points (the average scored against us this year), we need to win by 120 points to get to 200%.
I doubt even the most optimistic of us would see a win by 100 points next week.
For me, I see this as a danger game – everyone anticipating us to win. I am sure that I recall losses in just the last 2 or 3 years where we had all tipsters saying we would win and we dropped the game.
I hope I have to eat my words, and we win by 100 points, but I’m nervous.
