The conjecture was that this was part of the problem the Saints had in their relationship with the AFL although it's hard to imagine something that happened that long ago getting in the road these days. I remember hearing an interview on a couple of years ago with Demetriou who was asked what thoughts on football thinking he has in common with GT and he replied the only thing he has in common on any level with GT was a weight problem.

No i'm pretty sure he was playing for adelaide at 17 or 18 he was still in school when drafted.... i think hes 19 now

I thought when he stayed in Melbourne in 2008 that he got special permission to play in the T.A.C cup?

Each TAC Cup side is allowed to have 2 x over-age (19yo) players on their list. I think they need to make application for this !!
