It's about how he almost turned down a spot on the rookie list after the experience with Hawthorn, and how he had a bit to prove to himself in his first AFL game since 2006 as a result.

Puff piece perhaps, but you could say that about most player focused articles at this time of year... but a distinct lack of smoke blowing.

I'm not here to argue & of course I read the article - but if Zac didn't hold up well last week then there'd be no article this week. I'm just glad Ross Lyon keeps things in perspective at the club.
