Wow, I got an email from Nick Riewoldt!
...in the weekly newsletter sent out to members. Nick wrote all about what is on the saints site.
And it had to be him, because he signed his name at the bottom of it.
Seriously, why does the club really bother to pretend Nick is the one who sends us an email or a text to inform us about what's been happening at the club. Does anyone older than the age of nine actually believe he's sending it?
Just saying.

25 minutes to make a name for yourself like you've never made before.

Re: Wow, I got an email from Nick Riewoldt!
I'm completely over it. I mean, I was over it from the start, but it's gone into complete overkill and has gone from annoying to an acknowledgment by the club that the members are pretty much, well, stupid.B W and R all over wrote:...in the weekly newsletter sent out to members. Got to agree. People would complaining if they did nothing. They cannot win with some people.Solar wrote:to be fair all clubs do it, I got a letter from matty lloyd the other day because my details were on their database (I played a computer game on their website years ago).... sheesh if it makes one person sign up or buy something then well done
I remember St Kilda did that a few years ago and we had a call from a player, I was very chuffed.Cairnsman wrote:The Penerith Panther players (NRL Rugby Legue) did a ring around a couple of weeks to generate membership.
Apparently it was reasonably successful. I mean Imagine if you actually received a phone call from Nick asking you to buy or renew your membership.
Seriously does it matter whether they wrote the actual email or not?

AN OFFER TOO GOOD TO REFUSE
When a rugby league thug rings you up and tells you he knows your name and telephone number and you suddenly realise that he can get your address from the phone book............
Well even I would buy a membership, like how many would you like me to buy.
Whatever number you say just don't hurt me.

All I want for Christmas from Saint Nick is a premiership cup.
Then even I will believe he is Santa Claus.

Give me a break. Ok - so it's not him. Who cares? Some kid who gets the email would be elated regardless. Club can't win with some people.evertonfc wrote:Rubbish. It's pretty clear it's not them.
