I just sat in my car for 10 minutes tuned into 98.5 FM

I endured 10 full minutes of what sounded like Jefferson Airplane on a very bad morning.

Then was informed by Lisa - after she remembered her name - that I was listening to Apple FM. There was no mention at all of football, only the promise of further irrelevant airwaves spewing post-GBH-emo-guitar-dirge.

I've no doubts updates will be appreciated by all, but as for me, I think it was summed up quite poetically by the film Idiot Box -

6 1/2 minute mark 2nd quarter saints 7.4 tigers 1.1, was 1.1 apiece at 22nd minute mark 1st quarter then Gardiner started to dominate against Vickery and Montagna is killing them in middle of ground
