Embarrassing indeed.
Who the hell are they employing to come up with such a lame arse, naff concept?
This is without doubt the worse idea they've ever come up with.
It reminds me if that late September day in 1997 when Stan Alves made the fateful decision of parading the team to of the media wearing "warrior" headbands and doing an equally embarrassing rendition of the haka.
I remember getting a hunch right there and then, and the hunch said one thing loud and clear - "IDIOTS"!! - less than a week later my hunch was confirmed.
If i was an opposition coach I'd get the pictures of this farce, post them on my white board and caption it with those same words - "IDIOTS"!!
Warriors - FFS!!!

WTF? Criticism for thesake of criticism?
All we get is howls of protest that the club doesn't involve the supporters, so now they put up a short video showing the "human" side of players.
What's the problem?
I reckon the tattoo idea is great as a point of difference.

I think so...
Tell you what, I realize it would be taken the wrong way, but I owuldn't mind seeing the whole team play with the tatts on their face.
WWF meets AFL.
The Seaford Warriors!

You need to get your facts right when you rant on like this. Firstly The "Haka" as you called it was performed at the end of EVERY training session that the boys did under Alves and it wasn't a Haka it was based on military training. It reminds me if that late September day in 1997 when Stan Alves made the fateful decision of parading the team to of the media wearing "warrior" headbands and doing an equally embarrassing rendition of the haka.

Secondly the "warrior headbands were worn by the boys at that session as a tribute to Spida Everett who had worked his arse off to try and get right for the GF but failed to do so, the boys just wanted to show him that he was as much a part of them getting to the big one.

The "hakka" was a gridiron training drill, player initiated and it was just a bit of fun after a session.
It was NOT the reason we lost the 97 GF.
