it's wet though, you can't expect him to play the pack marking, pass it too leading players game he played late last season.Sam23 wrote:lol Raph Clarke has been good skeptic?
made quiet a few mistakes and been just about our worst player. Certainly not the raph from late last season we are seeing tonight
IMO he's been decent in the trenches. Hs skills by hand have been decent and he's one of the few players that has taken players on.
Skills by foot have been poor

I couldnt give a toss if we lose but geex footys looking down the barrell with that type of tiggy touchwood umpiring - ok, protect the head but do it for BOTH sides. I am fed with with patheic umpiring EVERY interstate game. I know they're human and will be influenced by crowd ertc but FFS be professional. You pull a holding the ball decision out of your @rse against Ball which reults in a goal and havent paid the m all night? ......THIS more than anything else will put people off our once great game. Its not just tonight and our games its been going on with inconsistency for so long.
As for our efforts - so far so ordinary. I watched tonight to see a glimpse of the future to get excited about...seen squat yet.
I pray to god we FINALLY do something about brining the ball into attack better this year even with Roo down fwd geezus we make life tough,....round the boundary, kicks to fwds as scrubbers, under pressure all the wayand so sloppy when teams rebound. That wont be good enough against Carlton this year let alone Cats/Hawks.
Rucks look ok...mids doing nothing with it. Id like to see some clearances from Goddard/Ball...Id like to see the kick out of defence given to someone else and Dal Santo played in a more attacking fwd role. FFS the games over - why not try a few things? give Maguire a run up fwd? Give Raph a crack up fwd?
Yeah yeah its NAB Cup but F*** me is it to much to ask to see at least a spark to get excited about???

It's hard to tell if our depth players/kids are any good because everyone is just another number around the packs. No one is given any chance to take the game on and try to create something. For all we know we could have the next Simon Black running around but we're trying to turn him into Andrew Thompson.chook23 wrote:just crap style
or crap players playing crap style.....

We are playing terrible in a practice match. It means nothing or if it did the swans wouldnt have won a flag in 2006.pickle_weasel wrote:meh o well, just goes to show we rely on reiwoldt too much to even get a score on the board. Saints will be lucky to make the eight if theyre gunna lose to such a horrible overrated side.

So what if its a practice match, means st kilda has no depth once again.plugger66 wrote:We are playing terrible in a practice match.
