Best Thing about our practice match
Carlton's was disaster, unbelievable incident between two of it's players and a broken arm.
Essendon have a broken leg.
St.Kilda, no significant injuries, makes for a pleasant change.
Let's hope this is the start of some good management and overdue good fortune.

Well Goose played pretty much the whole game so baring injury should play round one. Allen is out for the year and Dempster most of the year. I would think Lenny will play the last 1-2 practice games and Baker should nearly be right next week if they want to use him. The club reckon Rooy should be right for the last practice game as well so things are good in that department. A bit disappointing though is Heyne was the only player we recruited in the main draft who was fit enough to play in the interclub.Go Sainters Go wrote:This year, there are still a number of "unknowns". They are :
X. Clarke, Baker, Goose McGuire, Allen, Ball, Reiwoldt, Dempster, Lenny Hayes, - has anyone seen fitness reports on these players from the Club?

Oh and Otiman - no offence intended, but surely you agree that this pre-season, compared to say, the last four gone by, has been comparitively free from hype and expectation? We've been January Premiers for about four years now.
Just glad we're flying under the radar a bit.

one of the few times in the preseason that the club says- let's make soemthing of this- open invitation, invite the media- ch 7 and ten in attendance an d reporting live
and &&*&*&*& Carlton YET again steal the limelight >>>>>>>>>>>>
Tom Uren on the two ch 7 crosses just reported on Carlton and said- Oh yeh quiet here at moorabbin- with him standing in the shade
and said today on radio that he felt the saints had taken it lightly due to the injuries suffered at Carlton and Essendon in the morning.
and Carlton had tried NOT to get attention by NOt really advertising to it's members when the intra club was..
