Last call for banner designs..

SO far weve only had one entrant in the comp to design a new banner...from Moorabbin Saints...but I think everyone agrees its an excellent design.

Unless anyone has any objection or comes up with something spectacular in the next cpl of days..we will put the wheels in motion to install the new banner

Could someone link or post an image in this thread, just to refresh everyones memory?

It is pointless really... we have had banner design after banner design and never been uploaded

my brother is a professional in this field and has designed many only for them not to be uploaded, why would people waste their time??

First is for the layout 1, second for layout 2 and third for layout 3.

They'll all blend into the background.

I really like MS banners, but to be fair there was another one in the original thread and he should at least get a mention....

This is what mine looks like so far. It's still a Work In Progress.

EDIT: Had to use Dal instead of Heyne at the moment because I'm still working on Heyne's photo.

on what i was saying we have had competition after competition on this heading and one has never been chosen. I know how busy my brother can be and the orginals never got used. why is there only one or two that have gone to the effort to do one again? Beats me!!!

Why go through the effort of desigining one, when even if your wasnt agreed to but no ones in general uploaded anyway. I think it is good that finally you will upload one, but it has taken a long time

I am simply stating a fact and you cannot deny that, if one had been uploaded i wouldnt have a negative view on this post.... maybe next year my view will be different..........

Its OK batnoe..you are right..we did procrastinate lasst year, but part of that was because the only admin who could change the banner (Damien) really isnt part of the site any more

Now we have battye who I'm sure everyone will agree has done a fab job as our "techo" and can get the wheels in motion far more quickly

Looks fantastic, I like the fact that we've kept the old font just to keep the familliar feeling but this new banner really does bring us into the future a bit. The old banner looked like it was from the mid-late 90's, this current one is just fantastic.
