Riewoldt t t t...t
I can report that Riewoldt in looking Trim Taut and Terrific and in Tassie at his shack.
The Temperature around Hobart has been mid twenties. Maybe next year the team should consider a pre season camp in Tassie at this time of year?

It's about time you Taswegians suffered a bit like us Victorians.
Try 43, 44 then 45 for size.
And then a "cooler" 37 tomorrow
You Vics have NOTHING to whinge about!

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Well, I can honestly say that in Kalgoorlie WA we always get at least 7 days 40+ in January (often 13-14 days) and another 10-14 days 35+. This will continue in January but high temps will only make NEWS if Perth gets the same and misses the Fremantle Doctor (that we also never get).saintspremiers wrote:Good.Launcestonsaint wrote:In cold Hobart. We also get overnight temps as cold as Tassie in winter. I know, I used to live in Launceston and the West Coast of Tassie.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

Stop your moaning.
When I worked 5 years in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia on the gulf coast we used to have a joke.
Anything less than 45C was a COOL summers day.
Anything above 45C was a WARM summers day.
40C heat lasted for 6 months from early May until the start of the second week of November.
Then the top temperature would drop rapidly for the best winter in the world - mid 20s.
The heat would be a dry heat until mid August when the onshore winds would bring in humidity from the sea.
The high temperature allows the atmosphere to hold so much water vapour.
We referred to it as a free saudi sauna.
I would walk out of the office building and my spectacles (at room temperature) would fog out immediately.
By the time I got them cleared I would have a river of sweat flooding down my back.
At night it would not rain but condensation would leave mud on the windscreen due the amount sand suspended in the air.
On Fridays (weekend) if did not have your morning shower before 10am the COLD water from roof tanks would be too hot for a shower.
When you see a temperature readout of 50C and over then it IS HOT.
