When does training resume and what is the status of our long term injured players such as Goose and Dempster.

Unfortunately it's a little far fo me to attend training from Hoppers and I trust someone here has a good reliable and honest source of information.

Not sure about Dempster, but Goose has been training.

now now 3rd gen

what's a little distance
A couple of times I have made training there is a gentleman who travelled across from Geelong

it's fingers crossed that they have it up on the site early Monday-- I'm hopeing for open training Wednesday 8-)
Veteran defender Max Hudghton, preparing for his 13th season, is travelling well despite the hamstring and calf concerns that have hampered him in recent years.

"You need your mids to be running a bit better than your full-backs and full-forwards but we have guys like Max Hudghton who is on a program specific to him," Misson said.

"Max is going well. He's done a fair bit of running compared to this time last year. We're pretty happy with where we’re at."

Another backman, Matt Maguire (foot), and onballer Luke Ball (hamstring) are making steady progress after injury-riddled seasons and should be available for February's NAB Cup competition.

Utility Sean Dempster, who ruptured his ACL in the round-22 win over Essendon, started running last week and is aiming for a mid-season return.

Jarryd Allen (hip) is the only inactive Saint after surgery grounded him last week. The 20-year-old will be sidelined for at least six months.

And Brat...when you give Byron this info you might like to give him directions on where to pick up some warm, woolly clothes too...... I think our Freo boy might be doing a little shiver in Melbourne of late.

saints.com.au or 1300 GO SAINTS and follow the prompts
http://saints.com.au/Season2008/Trainin ... fault.aspx

or find an internet cafe and log onto here- someone will tell.

:D and as for the warm clothes- good luck- although Kathmandu in the city have a sale on :)- there are other means of warming up I;m sure.

there are discount outlets all around the dome now- new ones near the southern star- and also DFO at moorabbin-

but finding warm jackets may be tough- I couldn't even find a light top today in the shops here

Only real injury concerns are Dempster who should be back half way through the season and Allen who will not play this year. I would expect both Bakes and Goose to be playong round 1 unless some new injury occurs.

Yes the Allen thing was common knowledge wasnt it. Matter of fact I think we may have found out on here even earlier if if some little child said it was rubbish. But what would you expect from that sad poster. I'd wish you a happy New Year but that would be lieing and i'd hate to do that.

btw look forward to you tracking me down at the practice matches or early games..... just ask around :D

All I do is post inquring questions that highlight what a wanker you are.... you refute it by saying I'm a kid.... hmmm someone never learnt how to have a reasoned debate
