Is the Footscray bloke Mark Kellet?
"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."
Classic.

Deon Omond - former client of mine and also bought a car off him in the 1990s. He has/had a huge collection of cars out at his property in Blackburn from memory.

This ad almost brought a tear to my eye. I have not thought about Trevor Barker for a while. I remember meeting him as a kid at a McKinnon High School sportsmans night when I was about 15 year old. I moved away to the south coast of NSW in my early twenties, and although coverage of AFL was sparse years ago, I remember the cameras focussing on Trevor in the grandstand when he was so ill and ridden with cancer. When he died it even made the nightly news in Sydney, which is really quite amazing back in those days. I think about the coaching roundabout of the last 7 or 8 years and I cannot help but think that our coaching succession plan died along with the great Trevor Barker. For what its worth, and I don't care who on this forum shouts me down, he would have been a great Saints coach. RIP Trevor - for those who saw you play, you will never be forgotten.
