I caught the first 10 mins or so...
Host was teasing him that he needed a bigger shirt as he's guns were pumped! Explained that instead of training yesterday, played water polo which gave arms a workout. Commented that training isn't just running themselves into the ground anymore, mixing it up a bit.
Strange not having Harves around the place, BJ has been happy to take his chair in the team meetings.
Not thinking to much about the move to Seaford just yet, still some time away. Looking forward to the training facilities and the advantages that will bring in fitness and medical etc. Also likes the prospect of being the peninsula club.
Irish guy (forgot his name) arrives tomorrow.
By this afternoon, all draftee's will have been down to the club and introductions made. Commented that Begley was a good pickup, very quick and can only improve.
That's about all I caught...

Said Dempster is running already, and a training freak.... wouldn't be surprised to see him back early.
Said everyone had their own unofficial chair in meetings, and one year a newby (didn't catch who) sat in Harvey's chair, much to everyones amusement....
Mentioned the plan for Gram and BJ to get more time in the middle....

I will have none of this "Seaford" business.
And Joey should be delisted today for calling it "Seaford", not "Frankston City", which is what the official spin line always is.

Seaford is part of the Frankston City Council and the COUNCIL is putting in $3 million...
Again, just what is wrong with the Club stating "Frankston City" FFS???
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!

The club are trying all they can to hide the farkup that was moving from Frangga to Seaford, by using the generalist term "Frankston City".St Fidelius wrote:Just what is wrong with that???saintspremiers wrote:Wash your mouth out IMMEDIATELY Eastern.Eastern wrote:That was Eljay. That's all it is in a nutshell!
IMO they are grateful of the Councils donation, that is bigger than the AFL's, and want to show their gratitude...
IMO the move to Frankston Park was the hope that the Club would affiliate with the Dolphins, and yes IMO it was a F*** up.
The Saints have approached the Dolphins on three occasions without success and the thought of having to SHARE facilities with another Club was a wrong one IMO. Even if we were affiliated with the Dolphins.
This Seaford project will have the Club at a training facility that is not shared with another club and IMO that would be the best way to go

whats the gap between running and playing again??????markp wrote:Said Dempster is running already, and a training freak.... wouldn't be surprised to see him back early.

May have an extension on time. Had to stay in Ireland because there was a DRAW in the GF of the GAA comp and the replay was a week later and he is/was one of the star players !!borderbarry wrote:Interesting question above from HENNO which has been ignored to date,
"why is the irish guy (possibly tommy walsh) coming to train with us when the international rookie deadline was yesterday??"
Can we still take him for this season, or not?
