Make sure you check out the latest video on Saints Central featuring an interview with Recruiting Manager John Peake, highlights of our new six draftees and exclusive footage of Tom Lynch and his family at the moment his name was read out on the weekend.

Re: John Peake interview and draft highlights video
good stuff. happy with the players we picked up.
like the look of heyne and that stanley has a fair leap on him and pace ... good attributes for a big fella.
lynch looks a good type of bloke to have around the club. seems quite driven to have come back from that knee reconstruction so well and so quickly.
quite impressed with the way john peake spoke, also, and i'm pleased that we are trying to address a few problem areas.

someone had this tip on another thread:
When the video is playing (or is about to start), right click on the video and click Properties. There will be a Location link. Copy that and open Windows Media Player. Click on File > Open URL. Paste the copied location link into there and press Enter. The video should play.

pleased to get lynch whom they are looking at to help out as a forward target. said lynch has leadership qualities and they'll look at how he develops within the group.
he said heyne has a bit of x-factor about him and they were pleasantly surprised he was still available at pick 48.
he said rhys stanley has a big leap on him and is very quick for a lad his size. said that with him and mcevoy we now have some developing ruck stocks for when king and gardiner move on.

Cudos to saintsmedia for informing us with content updates, but to my thinking it only proves one thing, no one goes there.mick13 wrote:Whenever I see a saintscentral or bigpond link...I just forget about it.
At the risk of getting another flaming from RBnW I was so diappointed in the saintscentral and saints "new" websites. They are just ports of the AFL/Telstra websites. The FF promised website just never materialized.
All the board had to do was model our new site on the bombers' and it might have been worthwhile.
One feature about saintcentral that makes me laugh is the need to be registered before you can do anything. Rule no1 in website design is that you have to be able to see what you are getting before joining. Too many potential users just turn away and go elsewhere.

Gawd...and if we spent a fortune on a fancy independant website (assuming we contractually were allowed to) then FF would cop a spray cos its not "Footy First"sunsaint wrote:Cudos to saintsmedia for informing us with content updates, but to my thinking it only proves one thing, no one goes there.mick13 wrote:Whenever I see a saintscentral or bigpond link...I just forget about it.

Maybe download WMV or FlipforMac.....they are a couple of media player apps that I had to download to watch something else on a different (non-bigpond) site, and must've helped watch Telstra/AFL porn!
