ambitious-- as armoooooo says above- pay up first and then if there are players still available then - see how it goes.

I Don't want to start collecting yet, in case we over-subscribe ans therefore need to cut back some of the multiple shares to accomodate all posters.

I'll sort out the payment to the Club with them (have already communicated with tehm re this).

I'm sure MOST posters would understand that any leftover funds should be kept for running costs of the site !!

I don't want to collect money under any false impressions - we asked for sponsorship dollars, and Battye and I are sorting out the 'Donations' at the moment.

I have just received info from the Club that means we have no need to worry about paying by next week, so we can merrily just keep on taking pledges.

I am waiting to hear back from Brooksy_Babe_24 who indicated in the other thread that he was keen on 14 shares. If that proceeds then we are nearly covered for our third player, especially when you consider there are still 23 members of the 2008 group who we haven't heard from yet.

Whilst they didn't say specifically one way or the other I note that both Mini and Farren Ray were both originally in the 'Core Group' so I would suggest it is the list of all unsponsored players.

I'd be staggered if they've been so much more successful this year than last year in obtaining sponsorship so maybe they've 'pushed' some sponsors onto unsponsored players rather than allowing multiple sponsors of the same player?

Edit: I sent out a second PM to those people. I was concerned that I may have accidentally cleared either my 'sentbox' or my 'outbox' (can't remember which one) before someone got it. Though I know a lot of people did get my first one. Umm... sorry about that. Anyway, everyone has one now. But if you give them a couple of extra days, it might be gracious since this maybe a mistake on my part (I'm not sure which one, if any, I may have cleared accidentally).

Also, if no-one has said it... thanks for the work you've done on this. It's a great thing.

And finally... for the record, one of the names you've been listing is wrong. nebulousdog does not have a space between nebulous and dog.
