My God What a Monster Post
I've just looked at the BC post from last night, of which I participated in.
I wasn't here when GT was sacked, but it has to be either the number one or 2 post of all time.
The only topic that could beat it would be a premiership win.
Not going to comment on it, think enough has been said, but to all those who wanted to throw away their memberships, please think again. If we have supporters who will quit just because we didn't recruit 1 I repeat ONE!!!!! player, what hope have we got to survive, let alone thrive.
As I said last night, one player does not win a premiership, teams win premierships and we have to stop this worship of the individual.

Re: My God What a Monster Post
it is huge, but there have been others to rival it, namely "is barks4eva a sacred cow?" and the famous "the teflon banning".3rd generation saint wrote:I wasn't here when GT was sacked, but it has to be either the number one or 2 post of all time
both stretched to well over 20 pages and 500 posts before being locked and consigned to history.

No way was I going to read 19 pages of arguing, but I also could not open page 19. However, what I wanted to say was, any one who threatens to cancel their membership should go into the bathroom and have a good hard look at themselves. Who do they barrack for? St Kilda football club or an individual that has never worn red, white and black.

We'd be too busy celebrating, then too hungover to post.3rd generation saint wrote:The only topic that could beat it would be a premiership win.
Things might trickle in for the 3 or 4 weeks following a flag.
GT sacking will probably be the highlight (or lowlight?) of this site.
I think the BC announcement got about half the amount of people as the GT debacle.

The BC one reached 208.
Bizarre for a critter who never even played or coached with us.
