On Bigfooty apparently on Gold Fm one of their guests was Michael Klim.He was asked about Cousins,being he is on the Saints board.In which he said "it was a done deal but he couldnt say much".
I for one hope that this is true and hope that this doesnt get in trouble with the club, for letting the cat out the bag.

he was part of the footy first ticket but i dont think he was made an board member

I dont understand how can it be a "done deal" when a club like Brisbane has picks in both drafts before St Kilda.

i dont think klim is on the board he was on the ticket but not as a prospective board meber he was maybe a sub comitee or somthing ?

if ben nominates us as his club of choice and we want him, then it is close to a done deal as you can get.

if he says he wants to play for brisbane and the lions want him, then brisbane it will be.

Klimmy was only ever a member of the Saints football sub committee advising on training, rehab , recovery and resources.

it's called signing in principle, not tampering because he wouldn't OFFICIALLY tell every other team not to take him but seriosuly with such small lists no club would risk drafting a guy who would not want to play for them, especially an ex druggie.....

I believe Klim is on the football sub-committee along with Burkey, Thomo and Mordy Bromberg.
