well it's meant to be big enough to have a.....
as well as...gymnasium, rehabilitation pool, meeting rooms, lecture theatre and an indoor sports hall for basketball, netball and other sports that will be made available to local schools, health providers and sporting associations.
I would say plenty IMO and I wouldn't worry too much about the graphicsan AFL MCG sized oval
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!

Looking at that pic, I guess that it is about 60 metres from the Hummer on the left to the 2nd of the blue cars on the right.
I'm guessing the Hummer is parked outside the basketball/netball part of the complex. The pool looks like it will be in that back left corner (remember its only a lap pool. About 15 metres long and 2-3 lanes). The gym and lecture theatre could occupy the middle-back area, with the admin section/offices up the right hand end. Not sure what that little bit with the small logo is

Each of those parking bays should be a minimum of 2.6metre wide if they comply with Australian Standards.
Class 3 parking spaces allowing car front doors to be fully opened.
So by my estimation the complex is about 70 to 75 metres long.
That looks like another building on the near side of the car park.
We can only see one end of it.

I hope the players know about car pooling.
With the possibility of 48 players including rookies and then some staff and coaches and trainers there are not any where near enough parking bays.
Certainly no parking for Saintsational supporters wanting to watch training sessions.

I would like to see a soft surface running track around the outside of the oval. Our players sustain enough stress injuries due to excesive running on hard surfaces and grounds - Telstra Dome.

I fail to see how Frankston is not in our heartland, when we clearly have more supporters on the Mornington Peninsula than any other club, our greatest ever player is from Frankston and we have had many other footballers from that area play for us?
Moorabbin wasn't our "heartland" in 1965 when we moved there.
It was as far from our heartland as Frankston/Seaford is now.
Club's need to make bold, foward looking decisions. Not decisions that satisfy a bunch of middle-aged supporters who have fond spiritual memories of the "good old days" at Moorabbin, but 2-3 future generations of supporters who will actually keep this club going, and who are more likely to live in Frankston than in an inner-city bayside suburb of Melbourne.
I love what the club is doing moving to Seaford. It's close to Eastlink, allows us to claim the whole bayside area, will provide us with a great modern training facility, positions us in a strong population growth area, offers a "blank canvas" and an excellent financial deal for the club.
And I live nowhere nearby.
But it's best for the club's future ... maybe not for the future of our older supporters who yearn for the "good old days" at Moorabbin, or who insist on us remaining in the inner-city where there is little population, space or money for football, but best for the future of the next generation of Saints fans, and best for our players and club.

Too right St Fid. I agree. The decision should have little to do with the past (other than taking into account if there is a historical support base already in existence). I recall digging out some ABS stats for an earlier post. Sure there are some new estates and new houses being built, but if you think they are growth areas you haven't visited an outer suburb in a growth corridor for a long time.
