In trades gone by we have shown interest in the kid, he has now asked to be delisted by the demons so he can go to a new club. They reckon his preference is Carlton, i am sure we will have a chat to him
He is a good player and i think we are a chance

BC9.....and.....kids.....kids.....kids.....kids
Lets make our average list age below 24.
With picks 13, 47, 48, 63, 78.
Here are past players that have been picked up after the above selections since 2000.
13 - Daniel Kerr Pick 18 - 2000
47 - Sam Fisher Pick 55 - 2003
48 - Paul Medhurst Pick 56 - 2001
63 - Graham Johncock Pick 67 - 2000
78 - David Rodan Pick 86 - 2006 (After he was delisted from Richmond)
Now of course we're not going to strike gold with every pick, but imagine if we hit the nail on the head with 2 of them, your looking at some great talent.

im noticing a bit of a trend here with every player that gets delisted who still has a bit of tallent ... the media put up St kilda as intrested and that Carlton is thier preferance ... i wonder how much truth is in theses stories ???

Hi S******,
The main thing that strikes me about the article linking us to Nathan Carroll is the fact there is not one single quote from anyone here at the Saints!! So I think it’s a little unfair of you to say we are contradicting ourselves when in actual fact, there is nothing in the second article from us!
We have not made any comment about Nathan Carroll, nor have we entertained any formal discussions, but like courting any player, we will always keep our options open.

Gee he has got a bad hair cut though. That alone might be enough to knock him out of contention!
Go Saints!

and this
Hi B****,
From which reliable St Kilda sources did you hear we were interested in Nick Davis and Nathan Carroll? As far as I know, this was nothing more than media speculation and innuendo. In fact, Matthew Drain was recently asked about Nick Davis on SEN and said the Club would not pursue him and there was not one single quote from St Kilda in the articles written about Nathan Carroll. I think footy fans need to be careful when consuming media (particularly in the off-season when reporters can struggle to find story ideas!)
