The Club also made the difficult decision to delist Aaron Fiora.
Aaron was drafted by Richmond with pick three in the 1999 AFL Draft and played 78 games before St Kilda acquired his services in a three-way trade in 2004. The midfielder went on to play 62 games with the Saints, kicking 32 goals to give him a career tally of 58.
The Club thanks Aaron for his contribution and wishes him all the best for the future
Thanks Aaron for your efforts at the Saints, and please ignore the usual clowns who will gloat at your departure
I actually think Aaron Fiora got the most out of himself and had a pretty good AFL career - 140 games is a damn good effort. At times he was very good, at others not so good. But he can feel pretty proud I reckon that he played a lot of AFL footy and gave it his best shot. He didn't have the body to be a physical player, so he was the outside runner. He did that well at times, probably 2007 was his best year.
But a very disappointing 08' season sealed his fate.
I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

pfft - old news, knew about this on Tuesday from an anonomous text message
Good luck Dirk Diggler - the new career awaits
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Thanks for sharing Joff.
Was asked not to. Wasn't my news and thought it was prudent not to post anything.

Whilst I'm not gloating on his departure, I'm glad he has been delisted.
Nothing wrong with saying that is it?
But I will wish him good luck and hope that Melbourne picks him up with a late draft pick.....he is potentially still good enough at AFL level in a weaker side.
I'm with you Hurricane.....unless of course those that are gloating are trying to find their next target!

Amazing what being de listed can do for your profile
BANG BANG
Show some compassion.
Finally it looks like they're getting tough!
They are getting tough indeed....isn't that 10 delisted now?
Very happy with the large turnover, the question has to be asked why there wasn't more turnover at the end of last season - perhaps RL didn't have a good enough grip on where all the players/team was at at that stage.
