Future Captaincy Material.

Post: # 669027Post Moorabbin Saints »

Who would we say could in the next few years step up and be considered a real leader of the club. Obliviously Riewoldt has the job for a while but which young guns are leadership material?

I'd say Goddard, he may get aggressive sometimes but that can be a good thing. He bleeds for us.

Given the coach doesn't like Armitage, how is he ever going to be captain?

Going to school with Steven, he seemed pretty quiet, shy and modest.

Might be completely different out on the field. But I can't see him as a future captain just by the way he acts at school.

Definitely BJ. Shame that Roo will probs captain him for most of his career, cos I reckon he could be a f****** awesome captain.

Armo possibly, but Ross doesn't seem to rate him yet...

Steven hasn't even played a game.

Joey is not captaincy material. Nor is Dal.

When you get less than 10 possessions in a senior game......being dropped to the seconds is fairly mandatory.

i dont think goddard and co will get a chance b/c roo will be captain as long as he plays and i think he will out last ball, goddard ect so itll have to be armo or another young player, possibly some1 we havnt even drafted yet.

The question was for a future captain... not future trade bait
