Well I guess the suicide failed. Poor game which hinged on one diabolical refereeing decision. Nextgame Tuesday so lets hope for better. How did your let fare?

While I support SouthHam and sympathise with our two clubs similar history and success.
But driven by an utter hatred of all things soccer, I am confused that this post is not in the general forum or probably more appropriately in the fantasy football forum...

Some of us follow Portsmouth and took great pleasure watching Pompey lift the FA Cup last year and seeing Southhampton narrowly missing relegation from the lower league.

Just for fun, Mike, make the claim that Andrew Demetriou killed bambi. You'll get a response from Plugger66 within 5 minutes defending the CEO's actions and claiming that the bullet did not kill the still-living-at-home sponger but it was the result of the impact of its head hitting the ground.

Your finish of 4th last season was a helluva lot better than ours!!

many don't seem to think so-= BUT for mature supporters they have short memories- not that long ago- within my lifetime in fact- we only won 2 games out of 22-- we have certainly IMPROVED since then.

Anything less than a grand final appearance is not a success.

We've been bundled out at the 2nd last game, 3 out of the last 5 years.

Its time to step up and make this potential a reality. We've been waiting too damn long for anything else.

After just having watched the Everton ManU game - I was thinking that I have watched a lot of EPL and never really had a side. I kind of supported Westham for a while as a teenager - but that was only because of a girl that I met from the UK.

But today after reading this thread and having a bit of a sniff around on the web - Southampton it is! I'm on board! Where do I sign?
