The drive to keep this site viable has been going for two weeks and we've raised a whopping $370!!! PATHETIC!!
Well done to those who've chipped in.

C'mon Folks.

Mr Magic let me know how things go (money needed by a certain date?). I'm happy to chuck in another $50 if it's required.

Get an admin to send an email around to all registered members? A lot of people on here
A) Don't bother with SS in the off-season aside from Trade-week.
B) Don't bother with reading stickies assuming that they're the same ones from 3 years ago.

No it will be more.
I'm ewxpecting more money to roll in from teh pms I've been receiving.

I'm only reporting the actual total I've received either direct deposit or cash/cheques deposited.

Once we get to the figure that Battye has advised me ($1000) I think we should stop collecting because we're almost at the stage where we'll be asking for pledges for the 2009 Player Sponsorship Program.
I've emailed the Club today to try and get some early info re this and once I receive a reply I suggest we start a new thread for 2009 Sponsorship?
