ex-geelong DAVENPORT anyone????
JUST REPORTED - JASON DAVENPORT DE-LISTED AT CATTERY:
Davenport spent three seasons with the Cats – one as a VFL player, one as a rookie and this year on the senior list. He did not play an AFL game but did play in two NAB Cup matches and 63 VFL contests.
He was a member of the Cats 2007 VFL premiership team and won the club’s VFL best and fairest this year.
every time i saw him i was impressed. covers the ground well, is a goal-kicking mid- and is young.
worth crack at at our say 5th draft pick, rather than a non-proven young draftee.
anyone agree?

Never seen him play mate, but I would doubt if we would go to the 5th round...elphie wrote:JUST REPORTED - JASON DAVENPORT DE-LISTED AT CATTERY:

Dunno about Wakelin but I'm sure Ackland declined to sign a new contract preferring $$ from Carlton rather than being delisted.Eastern wrote:Did we de-list Ackland?busso mick wrote:While on the subject of picking up another clubs discard who knows who was the last Sainter to be delisted and get picked up by another club? Shane Wakelin was another we de-listed !!
I agree if we could get him and Moody and maybe even Dwayne Beams we would be heading in the right direction.saintjake wrote:ive read a few times,
that davenport is very well liked down at the cats
and have heard some players,
like ablett and mooney, give him lots of praise.
would be hard to get into their midfield.
id go for him for sure!

Hackland jumped (early) at the chance of a 3 year deal at the Paperbaggers.SaintWodonga wrote:S.Wakelien before that..busso mick wrote:While on the subject of picking up another clubs discard who knows who was the last Sainter to be delisted and get picked up by another club? The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

To change plugger66’s posting MO would require a thought process and literacy that he sadly does not possess.st_Trav_ofWA wrote:fair point HD seriously Plugger your sarcasm is getting old maybe try a new form of posting ??HarveysDeciple wrote:everyone in the thread had something worthwile to say...........except one. out comes the sarcasm again.plugger66 wrote:I agree if we could get him and Moody and maybe even Dwayne Beams we would be heading in the right direction.saintjake wrote:ive read a few times,

Proudly assuming the title of forum Oracle and serving as the inaugural Saintsational ‘weak as piss brigade’ President.
