Good to see Dempster is back on his feet and getting support from Hayes, Attard, and Goddard.
Says he should be playing by mid season, and running before Christmas.
All the best mate in your recovery.

He'll bring some real bacon to the table next season. I wish him every success!
It's nice to see a few young blokes of his calibre rising up through the ranks and making an impression!

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Hell no. I wavered.Teflon wrote:but notyou hey ev? I mean you saw it coming well before us all yeah?
I liked it when we got him...and then his performances were a little poor and I was unsure about whether he could add something. But he certainly improved as I had hoped as the year went on.
It's my view, Teflon, that we could have really done with him in the finals series, particuarly when Gilbert was being shredded by Mark Williams.
Not saying he would have been the difference, but I believe he would have helped us quite a bit. He's become important.
I nailed a big set of colours to the mast of the good ship Schneider, which is still trying to find a wet sail...hopefully it will come this summer.
Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Even back by mid season next year would seem unlikely. And if he does, dont expect anything until 2010. It takes a fair while for players to get back to their best.
Anyway good luck to the lad.
Never bagged him like all you other nuffies

Lance or James??

I'm with you mate, his first game for the club was right up there with the worst individual performances ever...stinger wrote:yep...i'm happy to admit i was wrong where dempster is concerned......
I didn't think he had anything to show for himself but to his credit he came back and became one of our most reliable contributors...
