Dempster Feeling Better - saints.com.au

Post: # 663319Post saintbart »

Good to see Dempster is back on his feet and getting support from Hayes, Attard, and Goddard.

Says he should be playing by mid season, and running before Christmas.

All the best mate in your recovery.

Great news and am confident he will benefit from our medicos and training staff.

He's a bloke who really grew on me throughout the year after thinking he was getting a cheap game initially. I was clearly wrong.

Would be great if he can get back into the premiership side by round 15.

He'll bring some real bacon to the table next season. I wish him every success!

It's nice to see a few young blokes of his calibre rising up through the ranks and making an impression!

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Hell no. I wavered.

I liked it when we got him...and then his performances were a little poor and I was unsure about whether he could add something. But he certainly improved as I had hoped as the year went on.

It's my view, Teflon, that we could have really done with him in the finals series, particuarly when Gilbert was being shredded by Mark Williams.

Not saying he would have been the difference, but I believe he would have helped us quite a bit. He's become important.

I nailed a big set of colours to the mast of the good ship Schneider, which is still trying to find a wet sail...hopefully it will come this summer.

highly unlikly an acl late in the year takes a while to recover from best case would be looking at round 6-8 at the very very best

Even back by mid season next year would seem unlikely. And if he does, dont expect anything until 2010. It takes a fair while for players to get back to their best.

Anyway good luck to the lad.

Never bagged him like all you other nuffies

Lance or James??

The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

I'm with you mate, his first game for the club was right up there with the worst individual performances ever...

I didn't think he had anything to show for himself but to his credit he came back and became one of our most reliable contributors...
