Daniel Harris

Always liked the look of this guy. 26 yrs old and can get the pill, good tackler and fierce in and under if a bit slow.

Would like to see him join the Saints and help Lenny and Bally in the centre. Played well against the Cats and Hawks midfield this year, so he's no flat track bully.

Me too, fugazi.

Had an average year, but is a good player and would definitely add to our 'first team' midfield depth - which has been a real problem for us over the last few years.

Would love to see what he is like when used in a proper midfield rotation. Has always been used as an impact player by Laidley (averaged the same %age of gametime as Robert Harvey this season).

Would be great but are we willing to pay the price?
I don't think so, unless we can get Harris and Mcintosh for a second rounder I don't think we will see either in the Red White and Black next year...

We should be pursuing A Swallow before Harris - Swallow has pace and is a few years younger. Harris too slow - doesn't work from Saints

I think Harris would be a good get. We have Lenny and Ball who are good at the stoppages but when we rotate and those guys aren't in there we get slaughtered.
Being able to swing Harris in there with guys like Dal and Joey when Lenny and Bally are resting will upgrade our midfield no doubt.

What would it cost though a second rd pick?

I think he and Corey Jones would be the sort of players that Lyon would like to add to the group.

It all comes down to the cost though I guess, I'm suprised that we haven't been mentioned in the clubs chasing Seaby from West Coast.

Dont want to get rid of X.

Another year with a quality fitness regime should see him set to star in '09.

Offer them a 2nd rounder plus Fiora - they need another outside midfielder / half forward and Laidley might be able to get the necessary work ethic out of him.

I can't see Laidley tolerating the idea of Fiora, but I'll tell you one thing - I'd LOVE to see it... Fiora coached by someone like Laidley. they'll put him in the middle of a circle and take turns boxing him

Would rather have a crack at Swallow. Has youth on his side, has a little bit more toe, and tackles like a man possessed (something we need a bit more of).

Harris would only give us someone new to complain about.......

Not even worth a 4th round pick....

Couldn't agree more - Swalllow should be real high on our list.

If we add Swallow, Corey Jones, and Ben Cousins to our list we go very close next year, i reckon

Would you be happier with (if?) Mark Spitz?

Far better than taking a Chance on Master Bateman.

Would have added to that great Essendon centreline nicely.

C : Kickett - Long - Dick

Surely Swallow would fit in somewhere.
