Ok I think we need to do things right this time...

We will start trading the Monday after trade week, no point starting it on Friday as some people will be out etc.

We will need to have the following threads, perhaps in the general forum to avoid annoying others...

Off-Season Trade Game - Official Trades

Off Season Trade Game - Advertisements

I'm not sure how we can do the draft, I believe the best way to do it is every team gives up 5 random players... Perhaps each team has to nominate a number for every player on their list from 1-44, we can then pick 5 random numbers and whatever players they happen to be go into the draft... This is just one suggestion, feel free to nominate others...

I think the way we decide the winner should be done through an elimination competition, we make a thread for each game where both coaches post their starting 22 aswell as the rest of their list and every SS member can vote... The winner will go through the the next round and the loser will be eliminated....

I think the Roster should look something like this...

Round 1: (Qualifying Round)
Match A: Hawthorn vs Collingwood
Match B: Western Bulldogs vs Adelaide
Match C: Richmond vs Port Adelaide
Match D: Carlton vs West Coast
Match E: Essendon vs Melbourne
Match F: Brisbane vs Fremantle
Match G: St Kilda vs North Melbourne
Match H: Geelong vs Sydney

Round 2: (Semi Final)
Match I: Winner A vs Winner B
Match J: Winner C vs Winner D
Match K: Winner E vs Winner F
Match L: Winner G vs Winner H

Round 3: (Preliminary Final)
Match M: Winner I vs Winner J
Match N: Winner K vs Winner L

Round 4: (Grand Final)
Match O: Winner M vs Winner N

Also everybody MUST update their list after every single trade!!

Armo said we wait 'til Monday. I'm inclined to agree with him... New week, end of trade week etc. Are we going to move this to the General Forum or what?

BTW, I like the idea of just the three posts:

1) Lists
2) Confirmed Trades
3) Advertisements

I also think it's easier for the lists thread, that once everyone has posted their lists, first 22 and draft picks, and have started to make trades, instead of making new posts, just edit the original post, so you don't have to scroll through different pages.

And at the end of the game, I reckon we should have de-listings (like the AFL, each side must de-list 3 players), and these players can go into our version of the PSD, where sides can pick them up?

Yeah I think when the week begins we should make all the threads in the general forum, just to keep it out of the way a bit...

I think we're also going to have to have some sort of template for the list thread just to make it easier to tell...

Maybe something like a starting 22

followed by back up players followed by the draft picks...
