The Seaford Thread
Went down to Belvedere yesterday,
Was pleased to see that a start on the site has been made.
All sorts of machinery down there at the moment tearing the Earth to bits.
Bring on the elite training facility.
Bring on the move.
Bring on the 2010 flag!

Are you sure you are not confused with the work going on opposite on the surfacing of the Bowling Green car park!
Has anyone been able to confirm whether the works are on the bowling club site, are works which had already been arranged for the Belvedere Park site, or in fact are works associated with St KFC.Pilgram wrote:Go down there
It would be a remarkable achievement if design and tendering can have been undertaken already, and work has commenced.

Very droll.Ice Wolf wrote:Making our Training Facility closer to the beach.spert wrote:Isn't Seaford going to be flooded at some stage as sea levels rise due to global warming?
Just like Casey Scorp complained about it not being, we can just say give it a few years.
Actually, though, I never complained about Belvedere Park not being near the beach – I only pointed out that it wasn’t near the beach, whereas proximity to the beach was a claimed to be a great benefit of the Frankston Park site when it was first announced.

I was down there today also and it is still the same old heap of weeds as the last time I drove by.BelfastSaint wrote:Have to agree with this post...Was there today..drove into the carpark, had a look around ... and there is absolutely no sign of any construction work ...Go Sainters Go wrote:They must have moved quickly today, Tuesday, because I had a look yesterday afternoon and there was no action then.

Dunno where you saw equipment tearing the earth to bits Pilgrim. I was there yesterday and it's still in the same state as it has been for the past 10 years!Pilgram wrote:Went down to Belvedere yesterday,
