Just a brief interview. Mostly about his early cricket days and the family playing cricket. Said he was the only bowler in the family. They also joked that in tomorrows paper it will be announced that he is coming back. He laughed and said no and that Stewie has told him he is paying for Old Hailbury next year. He didn't say he wouldn't!

yeash harvs will play in the ammo's
probably not every week - but with his persona he'll end up playing every game.

also expect him to take over vossy's old gig with the AIS academy and development squad.
that would limit his appearences with the old hail's

#35 - Thanks for the Memories.

Far be it for me to cast dispersions on Stewie and Harves, but ex AFL footballers playing in the ammos just reeks of getting free education for their children.

It's a blight on the ammos, but I'm not sure what can be done about it.

I reckon Banger should ditch any thought of the ammo's and take up a job as a high performance trainer at STK. Take Dal Santo, Gwilt, Armo, Eddy, Schneider, Kosi and whoever else under his wing. Teach them how to run until they feel like their lungs are bleeding their brains. Then get them to run again. And again. And again. And again...

The cost for a yr 12 student at Hailebury in 2008 would be in the vicinity of $20,000. Prep would be around $5,000

Do the maths

Ammos definately aint ammos !!

This has been brought up a lot, but unfortunately I don't think that is something that can be taught, just like some players will always shirk a contest...

ROBERT HARVEY A.K.A The Great Man, Banger, Harves, Ol' Man River...
384 games, 4 B&F's, 3 EJ Whitten Medals, St.Kilda Captain, 2 Time Brownlow Medalist, 8 Time All Australian, 2nd Highest Brownlow votes poller.... The greatest of ALL TIME!!

Ummm Tom, if prep was only $5K then show me a rego form.

Not much change from $12K big ones.

Just looking forward to us having a real crack each week, and appreciating the younger talent coming through.
