Was still one of the best nights of my life as it was such an unlikely, yet crucial win at the time. Funnily enough my best memory of the night came well after the game when i was back at the hotel viewing some footage, and they showed Bally (who had been poleaxed in a collision with Goose and missed the last qtr) hobbling down the tunnel post-match where GT met him halfway and Bally jumped into his arms and they shared a huge embrace. It was a pretty emotional moment in recognition of the significance of the win. Does anyone else remember seeing footage of this? I wish i had it on tape...
Someone posted that footage here..I may still hage it tucked away on my hard drive..i'll let you know :-)

Yep remember that game well..the one and only time ive watched a winning game at the Social Club. Rixy kicking a goal with his first kick for us..after all the hoop-la on here about his inclusion... was hilarious. Roo took a "Roo-special" to save us at the death. Place went off when the siren went :-)
indeed, was a great night!

How times have changed.....not only is Rixy on the outer, but the other Lovechild (Ferguson) is also.....plus RB and GT are gone.

Earth to barks4eva??? :)

since when have they got it right with respects to rain/showers etc?

They are normally close with the temp, but seem to have no idea about the rain.

Could be anything!

Reading some of the weather geek forums.....they're talking the possibilty of decent rain saturday.....but it's too unpredictable to call at this stage.

I don't mind it being wet that's for sure

To the poster who was asking about the footage of Ball and GT hugging after the game, OLB used it in one of his video - i believe hes got it on youtube.

Its right at the end, at about the 4:15 mark.

Good on ya N1ck!! - hoped it would be out there somewhere.

Think you are right Luke. The Hawks will be equally disavantaged with their high posession game style and reliance on Buddy marking the ball.

One thing for sure is that contested ball is what counts on days like this...

Hit in hard Sainters and take no prisoners...

Lets get them back for 71 :x

if it rains or is greasy tonight then that will make it harder for them.....our defence will be on top and we will win the game from our backline....
through Max, Sam and BJ......
I have a good feeling that we will smash them tonight.....in the wet... 8-) 8-)

Our best is yet
to come......

True Buddy has trouble kicking straight in doors and in Dry conditions imagine how bad he could be in the wet?

Hope he gives us his worst kicking for the year 1.11 would be noice.
