some last thoughts before the big game

Post: # 647932Post Solar »

Wont be back before the big game so here are some final thoughts

1. Thankyou Robert Harvey for all the memories. All I wish for is that the other 21 players leave everything they have on the field. That would be the best tribute to the great man.

2. I implore all saints supporters to be LOUD and SUPPORTIVE. None of this potting players, negative talk. When a player makes a mistake, yell harder for him to go make a second effort. Roar like there is no tomorrow, because if we don't there might not be.

3. Get out in RED. It will look not only fantastic against the yellow and brown but will scare them silly. This is our chance to make a statement to the football world, we are a big club!

4. Stay to the end no matter what.

5. Do not be suprised to see the dogs win tonight. If the cats are going to lose a match it will be tonight.

GO SAINTS

Any advice on how to get to sleep tonight. :?

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

Well, I'll probably drink a heap of Cougars (I can't have beer anymore...sigh..) - so that should do the trick!!

I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

any thoughts?
it's our game
hawks are inexperienced
only one premiership player in their team
only one player in their team who has played in a GF.
they're young.

Doesn't mean they are going to lose, once the game gets rolling their inexperience will lose its effect

Both teams will be initially nervous, experience won't matter early on, if at all.

I for one, wouldn't pencil it in as a win, especially with such little though and reason behind it.

As we saw from our game last week and the doggies last night:-

MAKE EVERY SHOT ON GOAL COUNT!

We must seize every opportunity to apply pressure tonight and that includes on the scoreboard.

Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons; for you are a quick and tasty morsel.

I was no impressed at all with GEELONG .

Had the dogs kicked straight .....then a very different result.

Geelong showed they can be put off their game .

Re Hawks .....we need accuracy tonight

Max & Fisher to be the keys up back......

Confident we can do it ....
