I'm feeling unreasonably confident..
Bit worried because when it comes to the Saints, long years of suffering has made me a bit of a pessimistic b@stard....but this week I feel quite confident that we'll fix the Hawks up....more confident then against the Pies!
1. Harvey factor
2. Underdogs - we perform much better
3. Kosi, Raph, Gilbert and Dal hitting form
4. Lyon coaching well (gotta admit it!)
5. The oh so important winds of fate blowing our way.
I may be delusional, but its a happy delusion.

I know how you feel.
Ever since the Adelaide game I've felt like we've been running to a movie script:
1. Beat Adelaide.
2. Beat Bummers by 108 pts to make the top 4.
3. Get smashed by the cats
4. Beat the Pies.
5. Beat the Hawks.
6. Learn from number 3 and beat the cats by one point with #35 kicking a goal after the siren.
7. Freeze frame of Harves on his team mates shoulders shouting to his missus that he did it!
8. Close credits.
Who wouldn't pay to see that?

I don't think you are being unreasonable at all
We match up well against the Hawks and I think our backline can hold their forwardline and feel that their backline isn't much chop
The Hawks are ranked 15th for tackles and 14th for 1%ers
They are also ranked 1st for frees against, 14th for 1st possessions and 15th for clearences
It seems like everybody is a bit Buddy crazy at the moment - if we hit them hard around the ground and get our hands on the ball first then Buddy factor will become the Duddy factor

I was very calm until about four or five hours ago. Now I have about a million butterflies in my stomach.
I have actually been thinking for the last week or so, if we win this week and next week, what an AWESOME movie Harvs' career would make. Talk about taking the audience on an 'emotional journey'.
It would make a good movie anyway, but imagine...
Shut down Buddy and Hodge - we've got it. not that Caroline Wilson agrees. lol

I have a feeling the Hawks are coming in with far too much confidence.
I just don't see how it is justified. Our best is miles ahead of their best. We just need to play our best which I have faith we have hit.
Mr AA/Coleman/Worlds kissing ass to/overrated Buddy is going to get towelled by Max (who should be AA and will show the world what we are made of).
Our defence will hold fast and repel any opposition movement forward.
The midfield will come together with beautiful clearances and magical hard ball gets.
Our talls will rise taller than ever before and our smalls will sweep the ground beneath them.

I know we were beaten by the Cats by 58 points...but..I still honestly believe we didn't show up to the fight. Turn up the pressure, and put 100% faith in the team and I still reckon we can beat anyone on the day! Even the Cats!
When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

thats footy saintly
we beat the hawks in a period of about 20 mins last time.
as soon as we pressured, and ran quickly they looked lost, and had no time to set up that zone they play from the mid back.
we'll knock em off
hodge
osbourne/osman (whatever his name is)
buddy
sewell
control that, and we'll be celebrating

I just loved how free we looked last week. Almost to the point (at certain stages) it looked like a training drill. Surely the confidence of knowing the boys can grab the control of games in high pressure situations has sunk through the group.
