Who's the idiot?

Post: # 646696Post LENNY LEADS THE WAY »

Was at work today talking to a work mate a hawks work mate might i add and we was both discussing the big game.

After discussing the huge match up we got into brownlow talk and i ended up betting him $20 that Roo would out poll Buddy i wanted to make it $50 but he was soft.

I'm expecting Buddy to fly out to a huge lead but Roo to track him down.

Am i stupid or is he?

Roo should outpoll him.

Im not sure the umpires like him, I believe he's given the most amount of free kicks away (in the competition).

Sam Mitchell and Luke Hodge will take more votes off Lance Franklin than any Saints will take off Roo.

yeah, i rekon you're safe there.
pretty sure Roo will outpoll Buddy.

but roo was playing his best in 04, and he didnt win it then.
so i dont really see how he'd win it now.

btw, when is the brownlow medal night? soon isnt it
cheers :]

I have a bet with a collingwood supporter that Pendlbut won't get 3 votes in more than 3 games. If I win - he buys a Saints membership......if I lose...well....I can't even think about that.

I bet a slab of southern comfort with a mate during the pre season that St.Kilda would finish higher then Carlton this year...

Had some nervous moments mid year, but it ended up being a walk in the park.

Now I just need to get him to cough up the goods.

PS. And another Carlton friend still owes me 2 slabs and $160 (which started as $10, double or nothing years ago)

Couging up the goods can be the hard part, This guy i have the bet with owed me $20 because when saints played the hawks in Round 16 i claimed victory, guess when he payed up? Dam last saturday but atleast he payed.

Never understand why people don't pay there bets straight away.

Speaking of a bet i had a ripper this year with my best mate, a dogs fan, he said as long as lyon is ur coach u will NEVER make a prelim i said ok i bet ya $100 we do thru his career. this bet could've lasted for years but i claimed victory on Saturday nite  bet was paid in full on Sunday :)

I made a bet with my old man about 4 years ago that we would win a flag before Carlton would, if we don't win it this year that bet may struggle.

ive got a long bet with a workmate (been going since 2003) that we would get our second flag before Freo wins their first that was for a carton of jacks and cola .... 2004/5 he was very coy 2006 he was as keen as now i think hes getting worried again !!
