I think we're all hoping they can...

However, I remember back, 11 years ago when we were all ecstatic that the doggies lost to the crows.

The next week was going to be a formality.

We were so confident.

*sigh*

I'm seriously thinking of throwing $30 on a Dogs/ Saints GF. The payout would be superb :D

I'll be good to watch this game. I hope the Dogs can do it. A weird feeling they might! AND if so, that'd be their GF run.

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Personally I don't think so, their last few encounters are evidence of that. The contest has a habit of being tight, but then Geelong just seems to kick it into another gear. No doubt the Cats will be analysing the fact that the Doggies kept with them until halftime last time they met, and Geelong will come out firing...

I am not saying that they are unbeatable, just not sure the Doggies are the ones to have their measure.

The Saints will probably have the ability to catch them off their guard out of any teams left in the finals race, we would be the only team that they may underestimate given our recent loss?

I've never actually made a footy bet. I say that I will each week and people ask me how much I've won :(

Maybe someone can decipher this page for me??? I heard if you put $50 on a Saints/ Bulldogs GF you stand to win somewhere in the vacinity of a $1000???

Don't think the Dogs have any hope in hell, to be honest. Hawks v Saints is the silver medal match.

I will be certainly barracking for the doggies on Friday night, for they are my 'second' team so to speak as well. It would be an absolute fairytale if it were a Dogs vs Saints granny.

As will I. Mitch Hahn is a product of the Junior Football Club I am involved with up here.

However there will be no sentimentality if the dogs come up against the Saints next week!!

I am hoping the Doggies (and us for that matter) can make it, for their fans if nothing else.

I would much rather see a side who hasnt won a flag since 66 play one who hasnt won a flag since 54, than a side who won it last year and one who has won a dozen flags in the last 20 or so years.

i think the doggies will have the majority of support this week their fans the saints fans and the hawks fans will all be hoping for the doggies to get up !!! heck i reckon the majority of the country would love to see the doggies beat the cats (with the exception being cats fans )

It's Certainly possible, Doggies are a strong team.
all it takes is for Geelong to have a crappy game like they did with Colliwobbles in round 9(i think).
