no. it means its finals, so its not fair if other peoples sayings get on the banner and they dont help making the banner or even their not apart of the Cheer Squad.

So it was ok to ask people on here to brainstorm ideas all season, but not for the finals because they don't contribute? Am I missing something?
Just on a side note, thought the cheersquad looked great last night when they walked around the boundary & then noticed them sitting there with their members caps on during the game. Looked fantastic.

Thats it Dooley - You could have accepted entries and just ignored them and used your own - but us plebs dont count for anything do we?
I was talking to my son about joining the cheer squad as a close friend of ours will not be re-joining next year - I think based on the us and them attitude you are showing - that we will just stay in the Medallion Club again next year.
In fact next week - I think we will be turning our back as the banner is displayed before the boys run through - So put whatever you god damned want on it! You have lost Sainter_Boy and I

dools.....I know it may not be your call what you said re the banner sayings, but fair dinkum, that's the last straw.
The CS needs a clean out pronto re whoever runs it.
Not good enough.
Our club has nowhere near enough support at matches....just look at how few of us turned up at the Pies match.

We can expect at least a Simpsons character on the banner along the lines for when when the CS constructed one for Roo and said "Cool Man!"
Or maybe Oscar the Grouch will get a gig this time!
Who knows - maybe The Wiggles! Cos they would be awesome at Finals Time!

I don't look at this thread every week and think my sayings, good or bad are going to be on the banner. geee, all im saying is that i wont be accepting sayings from outside the cheer squad for the rest of the year. if you are so pissed off about this, and want your saying on the banner feel free to come to moorabbin on friday from 5-9 where we will be making the banner, like we have been for the past 24 weeks.and sainter_dad...we are not trying to exclude the public, i just think the people who are members get more of a say on what goes on the banner than non members. we are the ones who have to spend hours down on our hands and knees sticking on the sayings, so it might as well be one of ours for the finals!

the club made everyone in the cheer squad wear one! (of course this doesnt include MarkInUSA, considdering he is a cheer squad member...yet he doesnt live in Australia.)
