Nick Riewoldt
Absolute star!! 20 touches, 15 marks and 5 goals straight... Write him off at your own peril..
Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to stay on my toes.

Roger's currently at a party dressed as Nick Riewoldt as a female. He's got a sense of humour has Rog. He reckons he'll post some photos tomorrow morning.Lennon wrote:Why do people never have much to say when Roo plays awesome, but if he has a bad one the thread on it goes for two pages?
Where are you rogerwa?
And where is your "roo = champion's effort" thread?
Huh?

One good thing (perhaps the only one) about watching a game on the box is that you get to see lots of close ups of the players
From the moment Riewoldt ran out of the change room until the moment he ran off after the final siren he had the look in his eyes of a man who wouldn't be beaten (so did a few others, I thought: Dal, Milne, Fisher, Max and BJ)
His second best game eve IMO: after his incredibly heroic effort against the Dees in that horrible 2006 EF

Never had a doubt in my mind that the skipper would bounce back. He has too much pride in himself for that. And he didn't let us down. He was brilliant last night and my respect for him this year has grown immensely, he is just amazing the way he goes about his footy.
Great work Nick, you continue to show the world why you are our captain, it was a true captains game, like so many more you've played this season.
Another best and fairest is on its way.

Destiny. It's in our hands.
Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger.
