And has the worst awareness in the AFL according to many pundits?saintDal wrote:How could he have known when was he facing the other way?perfectionist wrote:It will be touch and go. I think he knew the Wakelin did not have the ball and decided to exact so revenge for an incident that occurred just prior. The umpire knew that too, which is why he was reported. However, the MRP can only look at the isolated incident. The benefit of the doubt may go his way.
Can we use that in his defence?

Ball in the area...would be gobsmacked 1 if he goes up 2 if a half decent defence couldn't get him off.Watch the replay the ball there while Kosi tackles then unsighted. No Case to answer for sure!StSteven wrote:Ask Milburn 3 weeks ago.Baldock Rules wrote:What for,, a heavy tackle and follow through.Since when do you get rubbed out for that.Sam23 wrote:He'll be put out for a week i'd say.
Carry over points hurt
Will be thrown out or reprimand at worst.
There are freaks and freaks and Baldock was both of those.

Certainly deserved a free.
Didn't deserve a report.
But the tribunal is so bloody inconsistent who knows what will happen.
But I think it is better that he is going straight to the tribunal rather than go through the even less consistent Match Review Panel.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

MRP will review it and throw it out, won't even go to the tribunal. Difference with milburn was he had him wrapped up and he wasn't close to having the ball. Kosi's was a sling rather than driving him into the ground. Free kick, nothing else.

So doesn't that mean it will go straight to the Tribunal ?
Or has that Anderson idiot changed the rules again ?

The difference there is that Milburn was aware that the ball had come out.StSteven wrote:Ask Milburn 3 weeks ago.Baldock Rules wrote:What for,, a heavy tackle and follow through.Since when do you get rubbed out for that.Sam23 wrote:He'll be put out for a week i'd say.

spot on - should've been paid the frees himself and understandably lost it a bit - just hope it doesn't cost him a week - would be very harsh but who knows? - the only constant with the tribunal is inconsistency!Moccha wrote:I reckon he wanted to hurt Wakelin and was seriously pissed off with the 2 frees paid against him. I'm not so confident of Kossie getting off, played a good game though.

The MRP review all incidents from the game, including any reports. They determine what the charge and penalty should be. In some cases they refer the insident directly to the Tribunal without offering a penalty.

I can't see how he could be reprimanded if he has carry over points...Baldock Rules wrote:What for,, a heavy tackle and follow through.Since when do you get rubbed out for that.Sam23 wrote:He'll be put out for a week i'd say.
