I'm trying to stay posiutive for this week but it's so hard and the reason is because of the MCG,

Ask urself this question and answer it honestly

When was the last time we played great footy at the mcg?

I honestlyt couldn't tell u when that was,

Our game against Carlton this year? Wasn't that great I guess, but good enough at the time.

what about 05 vs carlton? forgot the scores but Fev was their only goal kicker, kicking 4 goals, i think we won by about 100?

We play OK at the MCG, when it is fine, but it is NOT our home ground. Clearly, we made a big boo boo by going to the Dome instead of the MCG, after VFL Park, after Moorabbin, after the Junction Oval, after the cow paddock....

Should have gone to the MCG in 1964!

1st qtr they kicked themselves out of the game and the last qtr they almost pinched the game wasn't that good a game. Yes the 05 game was good shame it was 3 years ago against a lowley blues side

What about when we beat a red hot favourite Melbourne at the start of '07. Sure they went on to be terrible for the next 2 years, but they were coming off a finals series the previous year where they beat us in an Elimination final. From memory we had some key names out too, including Rooey.
