Schneider Time
Everyone remembers 2005 Preleminary Final
we were up by 7, we ended up losing by 35
because of what/who?
It was Adam Schneider
he destroyed us
This saturday night is his time
he must stand up and he must dominate from the get go
Cant wait to see what he can pull out of the hat
Bring Magpies on

I think he looked unfit and fat last week.jakestar1 wrote:Everyone remembers 2005 Preleminary Final

Yep, I reckon I saw him chase *every* time Geelong rebounded from defence...jakestar1 wrote:to be honest
he was one of not many that could hold his head up high last week
he tryed his best and needed help next to him
Yes, he's a clever player. But he still needs to do more. I can't believe he's one of Ross's favourites when his "competitiveness" and "hard running" would rank near the bottom in our best 22.
But certainly, a bag this week would go a long way to us winning the game. Has that X-Factor about him.

Re: Schneider Time
disagree, he has always looked a bit of a stocky lad...i dont think its him being overweight to play footy at the elite levelplugger66 wrote:I think he looked unfit and fat last week.jakestar1 wrote:Everyone remembers 2005 Preleminary Final

all throughout the game on sunday he knew what he was doing, whenever the football was around he was always doing something beneficial and didnt botch it...if only he had partners in crime
he looked sure of what he was doing
"It's a work in progress," Lyon said.

TBH, I don't particularly remember that it was Schneider who destroyed us in the 2005 PF. I can certainly remember O'Keeffe cutting us up
Anyway, that's beside the point. I remember Schneider as being a spasmodic performer at the Swans: which is presumably why they were happy to trade him to us
At the Sainters his good work has been even more spasmodic
He might look as if he knows what he is trying to do out there, but what exactly is he trying to do how often does he actually manage to do it?
He as held down a spot in the top 22 for most of the season on the basis of his talent and proven potential. But he hasn't been much chop this season. I fear we have another Fiora on our hans (or perhaps a worse version in that Fiora can still be quite brilliant on occasions).

Also had money on him first goal last week also - thought he was outstanding value!Saint Mik wrote:You could tell he had finals experience last week.
Could be the X factor this week, lets hope so.
First goal last week @ $17.00 also has him in my good bookes
He will kick a few agianst the Pies, just hope Roo and Kossi can do the same.
Schneider is one of the players that needs to really be counted on Saturday night if we're going to progress!
The Saints are coming!
