still holding out hope that Damian Kitschke can recover from injury and hold the ruck stocks this week with Jody Arnol patrolling the forward 50.
now theres a target we can kick to.
and with spiro korkamelis and tony antrobus at the feet and sean ralphsmith running off the half backline we should be a chance.

I dunno, Bartel, Ablet, Selwood were pretty "hot" on the weekend, jury is still out on Ling thoralphysaints35 wrote:oh yeah teams have won a premiership just cause they have 'hot' people in the side. ffssaintnat wrote:we at least need some hot people in the side that are not injured or playing vfl

ah the old binger !
totally forgot about him
and christian lister from the early 90's.
remember that one game he played . . . .
right up there with chris hemley . . . and brodie atkinson.
the magarey medalist who came over with huge wraps . . .. and did
sweet FA.

I tell ya who wasn't a bad but undersized ruckman..He had a nice leap on him...I remember him playing Carlton in a practice match must have been early 90's and destroying them...doug elliot I think was his name..anyone remember him?

Didn't Bourke and Hemley both come from Dandenong? Bourke was a pretty good player for us but Hemley was way too patchy.
Brodie was too bloody small and slow.
I remember Lister being on our list but don't remember his game.
I say hands down for the biggest dud would have to of gone to David Strooper...Did that guy ever play one game worthy of all the fuss??
Then of course there is Nugent, Frost, Burns, F. Campbell....
